DIY: Goulash Recipe

Hi everyone,

I’ve been craving some comfort food, and what’s better than a dish your mom made when you were growing up? One of my favorites was her Goulash. This is such an easy dish and makes at least 6 servings so I can make a big batch and eat it all week. I’ve been trying to cook ahead of time to prepare lunches because seriously it takes so much off of my weekly workload.

I found my original inspiration for this recipe here but I changed around a few things to make it even better! A few hints: don’t skimp on the water! It may seem like 3 cups of water is a lot but if you want nice juicy goulash at the end this water is really important. A lot of the water ends up cooking off anyway.

Also, most goulash recipes recommend using worchestershire; however, my mom always used soy sauce so I tried it and it gave it just the perfect kick! If you typically use worchestershire try switching it up and using soy sauce.
